Banjo clips 3 pillar

Just soldered these up , they were broken but worth repairing as they are the correct period for the table. I will post a picture of the table later. 

Mahogany corner cupboard

 Beautiful mahogany corner cupboard , minor repairs to Greek key mouldings and astrigals. 

Georgian Fanlight window

Georgian fanlight , glazed bar construction . The window is for a building in a conservation area of north London .

New Ears

Three mahogany chairs in need of a little
TLC . Not unusual for the scroll ears to get
mislaid .

4 to be made for these 3 chairs , I will revive and wax in readiness for the new upholstery .

Rosewood cabinet

Missing brass , splits , shrinkage , patching , loose feet and casters . It's got it all. Pleased to get the brass back in on the shelves and refitted to the doors , very tricky stuff !

Bergere Arm Chair

One of a pair of Mahogany Bergere Arm chairs , this one has suffered a not unusual broken back leg. I think this is common due to the shortness of the grain where the leg is shaped from one single piece of wood and also as the timber shrinks over time this causes the
brass wheeled casters to become loose which puts more leverage on the legs.

A repair has been undertaken before , I will take it all apart and decide then the best course of action.
